today was somehow a day where i explored the busy roads of the town. my purpose was to find the pool cue shop to find a cue ball to replace my workplace's one which went missing ystdy! so i headed to bras basah to the Q shop, but in the end the ball isnt available at the moment cos they are shifting to a new place. damn, in the meantime i went to the malay stall behind bugis and ate the nasi ayam penyet.
it costs a decent $4. the chicken is a bit to crispy and hard even though its hot, and the chilli taste more sourish compared to the normal sweet taste usually found in the ayam penyet. overall, its a decent meal and suitable for those who like to eat while looking at the different types of people there(trust me there is a lot of weird people!) and for those who dont mind the bustling and hustling. haha
i basically spend the whole day finding for a shop that sells that ball, going to meridien, bukit timah, back to orchard and then marina. in the end i finally gave up after enjoying the fried rice at esplanade makansutra corner. it night alrdy and i slept all the way inside 960.
lastly, i checked out the food at this halal restaurant at the esplanade called "sour puss" if im not wrng. why must it be a puss in there i dont know, dont ask me..
isnt this great, a competition where artists compete to become the best in the business?? why isnt this made in Singapore, it would definitely improve our music industry. wouldnt it be great to see taufik, hady, imran ajmain(BLUEK!), anugerah winners, sleeq, and other old timers in one stage fighting for their bragging rights??
Best Overall Song and Best Song (Pop/Rock)
Estranged - Itu Kamu.
no doubt their performance was superb and by far the best band of the night. the vocals was outstanding and the remake of the song to have a soft start was very effective in a concert. sofaz's janjiku was just a normal performance and did not get the crowd going, i must say that jinbara could have easily won it if not for their kaku-ness. haha. cheers estranged! this song has been in my mp3 for ages cos itsc chorus is just addictive!
Best Song (Ballad)
kaer Azami - Izinku Pergi
this song definitely has attracted lots of listeners in our region, a touch of R&B was enough. But i thought that maybe if Faizal tahir had not thrown his career away with that stupid stripping of his, Kaer could have been easy meat for him. Kaer too wasn't present that night as he's studying in Indonesia, therefore an unknown singer named Sahri sang the song. i'm not impressed by how he sang that song. Kaer sings 10 times better than him. huuhuu. hey, im just sad that Faizal Tahir's double song Kasih Tercipta and Mahakarya Cinta did not win anything due to other people singing it for him. shit! im a Faizal fanatic!
Best Song ( Creative Ethnic)
Nora - Samudera
oh well, this category was where the old timers compete, i must say that i felt that Ramlah Ram sang quite well. she should have won!
Best Performance
Mawi - Angan Dan Sedar
even though i hate him sometimes, i felt that his performance was very entertaining, energetic, fun and very Melayu. haha. he is not the type of male artist that is cool or the modern malay artist like taufik batisah or Fiq, he is in fact living up to his tag as Jamal Abdillah and M.Nasir's disciples. he can sing all those Malay that reminds us of songs back in the 90s and 80s. maybe that is why we dont quite like him, but i cant deny that he sings and entertains well.
Best Vocals
Jaclyn Victor ft Lah Ahmad(V.E) - Ceritera Cinta
what??! how come they won? i dont understand. i love this song, dont get me wrong. i just didnt like the vocals that night. it was sooo over! we know how Jac tends to overdo in her songs, but Lah has followed her path, and i was forced to listen to two of them shouting more than singing. i especially did not like how Lah sang that song, Rio febrian did it in a cool and relaxed way, Lah kept shaking and moving his head to make those kind of effect on the voice, but to do it so often in the song is so damaging to the song itself. and did anyone noticed how he almost lost it in the end when he tried to go for the highest note? hmm. poor choice voters..
hey! i ate a balanced diet today u know. rice wif hot dogs, paru( cow lungs) and spinach! haha.. i hope the old me will come back. cos i think i'm much better looking without a fat chin&^#@TG!(*@T!&#TG@RF^@*$F@*&#!(*#@Y!)*T#@&GWWGDIY)!#@!*&@(&!
ANYONE KNOWS WHERE TO DOWNLOAD MALAY SONGS??????

ambitions and goals
having recently listened to lots of talks bout goals in life i decided that i finally have a concrete one. im not really sure what i will do after all this sch n NS, but at least i have some idea of what i wanna do in the near future.
i see myself suitable to be a PE teacher. i love sports very much, but it is interesting to see if i have the skills to be a teacher. hehe.. but i will definitely love to interact with those kids or students. ahaha. i prefer secondary school students but diploma holders only qualify for pri schools. and another downside is that i need to spend at least a year at the NIE for training.
another option is to work at the zoo. at its not being a zookeeper or whatever, more of the office or customer service areas, as long as i get to somehow do my part for the animals and also to help people in realising the need to care for animals. HaHa.
next is... tour guide. yes! that would be great for a person who likes to travel around the country searching for hot spots and food paradise. on my resume i would put things like i have walked from bras basah rd to Ngee Ann Poly all the way just cause i felt like walking and exploring. LOL. downside is that im not sure if tourists can get what im saying because my S seems abit distorted.
if im that good enough, i wanna make a band and sell albums. LOL. gf said im singapore's peterpan. HAHAHA. downside is that i dont know of anyone who wants or needs a vocalists that doesnt even look ROCK or sound ROCK. if i were to form a band, i guess it will be a bit like those laid back alternative bands or more to pop bands.
and lastly, i will like to work at the sports industry, for example the SSC or in entertainment industry, such as cathay or electronic or computer companies like Apple, Sony etc. so that i can get the latest gadgets at a good staff discount. HAHA
no matter what it is, its LOVE! cherish every kiss! it reminds me of every sweet lovely moments with her. hehe.. i guess im the kind that make the lips like a chimpanzee and kiss her. i hope this does not spoil her appetite to kiss me. hahaa
i love cats. they have been the most adorable and lovable being other than humans in my life. the only time i got to see a cat everyday was when my granny kept one but that was when i was a lil baby. i want to keep one now that i'm old enough. to feel the furry body, those round marble eyes, those whiskers finely placed on top of the mouth, oh so lovely cat...
but oh the agony, when my mum let me know that she hates cats, and she won't allow a single fur inside the house, for her experience with baby cats has completely shut her eye on the beauty of these cute beings. what have they done wrong? all i want is to keep one. just one fat cat...
worse... my girlfriend hates it too. but at least i get to laugh at her everytime she jumps when she sees a cat. its like someone just pinched her butt. heee! i guess there may be no chance in my life that i can keep one close to my heart, in my home.
since i can't keep one, i've made a promise. to always carry good supplies of whiskies with me, to feed the cats that i meet everywhere i go.. i promise, that i wil nurture each cat i come across and shower them with my love. for they deserve it, i promise to protect them from any harm from any other sick humans who dare hurt them. and i shall fight for their rights. every hdb block must have a cat corner with a cage full of whiskies in it, in order to feed the cats and provide shelter!
this is my promise to my beloved animal, the cat..
good morning to all! im helping my aunt to shift house today. she's gonna stay at yishun, which is cool! i love yishun food. haha. talking bout food, i gona eat my murtabak very soon. gotta bathe first.
i wont be coming to sch on monday cos i wana work at mambo! teehee! good money comes at a price, i can skip classes anyway.
i have a big plan! to save save save money for....
PLAN A - finally go on a holiday with gf
PLAN B - shop at johor or KL where cheap is the price
PLAN C - enjoy like never before. (i still dono how..)
YES. its KL again and this was the first time that i celebrated the new year overseas. lol. actually ive never even celebrated once at all. 3 days 2 nights at a budget hotel, and full of makan places and shopping made me tempted to go there again soon!
shisha indian stall while watching soccer
me and the mat-ish wannabe cousin is
the greatest uncle in the world = uncle din!
PLANET HOLLYWOOD BEBEH
indeed it was great. countdown at merdeka square! there were seas of people, just like the padang at city hall. wanna know how we spent time there? NAHH!
it was ethnic music playing at that time okay! and the video took only half of what we danced. LOL. the people were staring at us all the way, COME ON ITS NEW YEAR'S PARTY. they were all stoning and chatting, and i dare say that singaporeans know how to party better than them.
